Kia Cee'd: Body Side Molding / Rear Spoiler Repair procedures

Replacement
  
When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Put on gloves to protect your hands.
  
Take care not to scratch the body surface.
1.
Remove the tail gate upper trim.
(Refer to Tail Gate - "Tail Gate Trim")
2.
Disconnect the high mounted stop lamp connector (A) and washer nozzle (B).

3.
Loosen the rear spoiler mounting nuts.
Tightening torque :
5.9 ~ 6.4 N.m (0.6 ~ 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 4.7 lb-ft)

4.
Remove the rear spoiler (A).

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
  
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damaged clips.
