Removal

1.	Disconnect the battery (-) terminal.

2.	Remove the air-bag module from the steering wheel. (Refer to Restraint - "Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock Spring")

3.	Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Wheel")

4.	Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening the screws.

5.	Disconnect the cruise control switch connector (A).

6.	Remove the cruise control switch (A) after unfastening the screws.

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

Inspection

Measuring Resistance

1.	Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.

Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is pressed).

Function switch	Terminal	Resistance (+5%)
CANCEL	2 - 7	180Ω
SET	2 - 7	330Ω
RESUME	2 - 7	550Ω
CRUISE	2 - 7	880Ω
S/LIMIT	2 - 7	1.44kΩ
Flex Steer	4 - 7	180Ω

3.	If not within specification, replace switch.
