Kia Cee'd: Manual Transaxle System / Neutral Switch Repair procedures

Inspection
1.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner)
2.
Disconnect the neutral switch connector (A).

3.
Check the continuity between power terminal and signal terminal.

Removal
1.
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner)
2.
Disconnect the neutral switch connector (A).

3.
Remove the neutral switch.
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 58.8 N.m (4.0 ~ 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 43.4 lb-ft)
Installation
1.
Install in the reverse order of removal
  
The neutral switch must be replaced with new one.
