Kia Cee'd: Front Bumper / Radiator Grill Repair procedures

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces
to protect from marring the surface.

Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|
|
| 1. |
Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover")
|
| 2. |
Loosen the radiator grill upper cover mounting clips.
|
| 3. |
Unlock the lock pins (B) by pushing it up with a screwdriver or remover
and then remove the radiator grill upper cover (A).

| 4. |
Disconnect the front bumper energy absorber mounting wiring harness
(C).
|
| 5. |
Detach the clips (B), then remove the front bumper energy absorber (A).

|
| 6. |
Remove the radiator grill mounting rivet and then loosen the screws.
|
| 7. |
Unlock the lock pins (B) by pushing it up with a screwdriver or remover
and then remove the radiator grill (A).

| 8. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Replace any damaged clips.
