Inspection

1.	Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

2.	Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

3.	Disconnect the back up lamp switch connector (A).

Check the continuity between power terminal and signal terminal.

Specification : Approx. below 1Ω

Removal

1.	Remove the air cleaner assembly. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Air Cleaner")

2.	Remove the battery and battery tray. (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Battery")

3.	Disconnect the back up lamp switch connector (A).

Remove the back up lamp switch (A).

Tightening torque :

39.2 ~ 58.8 N.m (4.0 ~ 6.0 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 43.4 lb-ft)

Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

The back-up lamp switch must be replaced with new one. (Do not reuse it.)
