Inspection

Check the audio remote control switch (A) for resistance between terminals in each switch position.

Switch	Connector terminal	Resistance (±5%)
Cancel	2-7	180 Ω
Set	2-7	330 Ω
Resume	2-7	550 Ω
Cruise	2-7	880 Ω
S/Limit	2-7	1.44 kΩ
Flex steer	4-7	180 Ω

Replacement

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the driver airbag module.

3.	Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to Electric Power Steering - "Steering Column and Shaft")

4.	Disengage the steering wheel remote control switch assembly.

5.	Remove the steering wheel remote control switch (A).

6.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
